Paolo RIBOTTA

Bio

Paolo Ribotta has been the CEO of Zurich Insurance in France since May 2023. With extensive experience within the Group, Ribotta had previously worked there from 1997 to 2011, initially in Italy, and later as the CEO of the French subsidiary. A graduate in Economics from LUISS University in Rome, Ribotta started his career in 1989 with Union des Assurances de Paris as an international underwriter. He then became the Head of Property-Casualty Underwriting Coordination for Southern Europe. After spending 14 years with Zurich Insurance, Ribotta joined XL Insurance in London in 2011, taking charge of the Network and Customer & Distribution Management. In 2012, Ribotta moved to Generali where he established and led the Global Corporate & Commercial entity. He was later appointed as the Managing Director of Generali Employee Benefit Solutions & Generali Global Health in Luxembourg. In 2005, Ribotta was recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. He is also a former member of the Board of Directors of the Generali Group Diversity & Inclusion Council.
