Bio

Dominique RESTINO has been elected President of the Paris Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 9th December 2021 for five years. Born in 1961, he graduated from the Executive MBA of HEC and began his professional career as a recruitment and HR consultant at IFOPS from 1981 to 1984. He co-founded and managed until 2006 SOGEDIS EFFECTIF, a HR agency. Two years later, he founded EXECUTIVE CAPITAL, dedicated to strategic development consulting. Since 2011, he has been the founder and chairman of EXPERTIVE –TEAM EXPERT. Since 2004, he has been an elected member of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry of which he became President in 2016. At the same time, deeply committed to the creation and transfer of businesses, he chaired and transformed the Agency for Business Creation (APCE) into the Agence France Entrepreneur (AFE) and founded the Institute of Entrepreneurial Mentoring (IME), an idea imported from QUEBEC, as well as the Movement for Young and Student Entrepreneurs (Moovjee) of which he is still the President. He is also the Ambassador for the Paris region of a business community committed to an inclusive society and a sustainable world launched in 2018 by the French government “Les entreprises s’engagent”. Chevalier of the Legion of Honor and of the National Order of Merit, he is the first foreigner to be appointed to the “Ordre des Mécènes of Québec” for his contribution to the economic and entrepreneurial development of Quebec.
