Bio
Shirmai Chung is a sustainability advocate born and raised in Hong Kong, where she was involved in a range of climate sustainability initiatives: From grassroots level initiatives, such as environmental education in her home districts, to top-down work, such as her support in the Government's Green Tech Fund and Climate Action Plan 2050. She is currently serving as a Youth member on the Climate Overshoot Commission. Shirmai’s research interests include climate finance, and east-asia’s contribution to global climate governance.
