Bio
Azra Musavi has a Masters & MPhil. in Economics, & PhD. in Sociology. She has over ten years of experience of teaching core courses and supervising PhD scholars in Economics as well as Women's Studies. Azra has implemented 10 Major Research Projects funded by national as well as international agencies as PI and co-PI. She has been engaged in interdisciplinary research on human biodiversity interface and sustainable conservation management especially on dependence of indigenous & forest based communities on forests in India. She has published several papers in peer reviewed journals and also authored and edited books. She has been working at the Advanced Centre for Women's Studies since 2016.
