Christian de Boissieu is currently Professor Emeritus of Economics at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, as well as Professor at the Collège d'Europe in Bruges. He is also Vice-President of the Cercle des économistes and a member of the Académie des Technologies and the Académie Royale de Belgique. Over the course of his career, Christian de Boissieu has held a number of important positions, including Chairman of the Conseil d'Analyse Économique (CAE), Member of the Attali Commission, Member of the Commission du Grand Emprunt, Economic Advisor to the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the Conseil Franco-Britannique, and Member of the Collège de l'Autorité des Marchés Financiers. He holds an agrégation from the faculties of law and economics, a doctorate in economics, a diploma from the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris, and a DES (Diplôme d'Études Supérieures) in public law. Recent publications include the collective work "Les Systèmes Financiers : Mutations, crises et régulation", published in 2013, and the book "De la crise des subprimes à la crise mondiale," co-authored with P. Artus, G. Capelle-Blancard, published in 2010. These works reflect his expertise in financial economics and his contribution to understanding financial transformations and crises.
