Sophie BOISSARD

Bio

Sophie Boissard is the CEO of the Korian Group, expert in senior care and support services. The Korian Group manages Europe’s leading network of long-term care nursing homes, assisted living facilities and home care facilities. Since September 2017, Sophie Boissard is also the Chairperson of the Korian Foundation which was established in order to provide a better understanding of the questions related to ageing and to promote inclusion and cross-generational relations. Sophie Boissard is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Allianz SE (an insurance group). Sophie Boissard is a graduate of the École Normale Supérieure, a Councillor of State, and has held various positions in the public sector, in particular with the Conseil d’État, the Employment and Social Affairs Ministry and the Economy and Finance Ministry. She joined the SNCF group in 2008, where she developed and headed Gares & Connexions (management and value enhancement of stations) and then, in 2014, SNCF Immobilier. From 2012 to 2014, she was also responsible for the strategy and development of the SNCF Group.
