After a MSc in Business (Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris) and Public Administration (Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris) Cyril Zimmermann has created in France several tech companies and has achieved the stock exchange listing of the two main ones ( AdUX a leading digital advertising in Europe, and HiPay a French fintech). More recently he has advised the Dutch on line media company Azerion throughout its path to go public merging with a SPAC on Euronext Amsterdam.
In the past five years he has developed a focus on culture and education. In 2018 he has co-founded a movie theatre in Marseille, La Baleine, and now also operates Le Saint André des Arts in Paris. In 2019, he has launched in Marseille La Plateforme_, a disruptive and inclusive school, which provides free of charge IT engineer education for people from various age and backgrounds. La Plateforme intends to train 3000 students by 2026 and is currently building in Marseille a 25 000 square meters campus dedicated to information technologies and social impact.
