Pascal RUFFENACH
- Chairman of the Board
- Bayard Presse
Bio
Pascal Ruffenach holds a master's degree in literature, a DEA in philosophy and an MBA (HEC). He began his career at Publicis in strategic planning. He joined Bayard Presse in 1992, where he was appointed director of the children's and early childhood editorial departments.
In 1998, he was entrusted with the "culture and religion" sector of Bayard. Four years later, he left for New York to develop the group's American activities. On his return, he became director of youth audiences, which includes Bayard and Milan Jeunesse. In May 2017, he was appointed Chairman of the Management Board of the Bayard group, and Chief Executive Officer.
A man of content, a publisher in the broadest sense of the term (press, publishing, digital), Pascal Ruffenach is also a writer. He has already published several novels. His latest book, Never Say, published in 2018 by l'Iconoclaste, evokes the question of intimacy in a hyper-connected world of widespread surveillance.
