Bio

Engineer graduated from the National Agronomic Institute of Paris-Grignon, chartered accountant and statutory auditor, Olivier Lenel began his career at Mazars in 1991 in the audit of large accounts and mid-sized companies in essentially non-financial sectors. Partner since 2002, his career is distinguished by its diversity in auditing and consulting.

Auditor signing for more than 10 years, and convinced by the benefits of multidisciplinarity for Mazars, Olivier Lenel has played a major role in the growth of Mazars Consulting activity for nearly 15 years. In 2003, then a young partner, he launched the GRC Consulting offer (Governance - Risk - Compliance), the foundation of what would later become Mazars' Consulting activity and for which he will, in 2014, be responsible for development by cooperating with in this capacity the Executive Committee of Mazars in France.

Leader in Consulting in France from 2014 to 2018 and at Group level from 2014 to 2016, Olivier Lenel is leading a significant investment plan, including certain external growth operations of Mazars in France by carrying out 5 strategic acquisitions, for a consulting positioning resolutely “core business”:

• EQR Conseil, a consulting firm specializing in the health, medico-social and solidarity sector (2015)
• Advese, management and strategy consulting firm for DAF and DSI (2016)
• iLeven, an actor specializing in supporting and implementing GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) and Finance solutions, mainly in the SAP environment (2016)
• Zettafox, prescriptive analysis specialist (2017)
• Alter & Go, change support specialist (2018)

In 2019, Olivier Lenel is leading and leading the Executive Committee alongside Hervé Hélias, Chairman of the Mazars Group.

In 2021, he was elected Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Management Board of Mazars in France.
