Marie-Aleth GRARD

Bio

President of the Mouvement ATD Quart Monde since July 2020, Marie Aleth Grard has been an ally of this movement since 1982.

Marie Aleth Grard was in charge of the children's branch of ATD Quart Monde France (the Tapori Movement) from 1999 to the end of 2007; she was elected municipal councillor in Saint Michel sur Orge (91) from 2001 to 2014 and then Vice-President of ATD Quart Monde France from April 2008 to July 2020.

Since April 2018 she has been a member of the Conseil Economique, Social et Environnemental (CESE), in the group of qualified personalities, on behalf of ATD Quart Monde. She also sits in two sections at the CESE, the Social Affairs and Health section and the Education, Communication and Culture section. In May 2015, she was the rapporteur of the CESE's opinion on "A school of success for all", and presented this work to more than 45,000 people between May 2015 and March 2020 (teachers, inspectors, rectors, etc.)

She was a member of the Conseil Supérieur des Programmes Education Nationale from November 2013 to October 2018; a member of the National Delegation of ATD Quart Monde France from June 2014 to September 2018; co-rapporteur in April 2017 of the opinion "The guaranteed minimum social income" at the CESE.

Marie Aleth Grard is also a member of the Board of the INSPE in Paris since November 2018 and a member of the Covid 19 Scientific Council since March 2020.
