El Mouhoub MOUHOUD is Professor of Economics at the University of Paris Dauphine - PLS, of which he has been the President since December 2020. Doctor of Economics from the University of Paris I Sorbonne in 1991, he is devoting his thesis to the impact of change technique on the international division of labor and the fragmentation of global value chains. He was also Scientific Advisor General Planning Commission, Service to the Prime Minister (France Strategies) (1995-2007) and consultant to the OECD, the UN, and the World Bank. He is regularly Visiting Professor at the New School for Social Research in New York (since 2009) at the Institute for the Transregional Study of the Contemporary Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia at Princeton University (since 2012).
His research focuses on the effects of globalization, the competitiveness of territories, the relocation and relocation of activities, and international migration. He has notably published Mondialisation et Délocalisation des entreprises, La Découverte, Fifth Edition (2017), Immigration in France. Fayard, 2017. He is preparing a work to be published by “Le Pommier” editions on industrial relocations
