Biographie
Ludovic Le Moan co-founded Sigfox and initiated the “0G”, the world’s largest low-power network dedicated to the Internet of Things (IoT) in 2010. In just a few years, Ludovic Le Moan has raised nearly €300 million from strategic and financial investors in Europe, the U.S. and Asia to support Sigfox’s global expansion.
Le Moan also co-founded the “IoT Valley”, Europe’s first IoT ecosystem based in Toulouse France, to help start-ups accelerate the deployment of the Internet of Things.
Ludovic has twenty years of experience in the machine-to-machine space. In the late 1990s, he led the COFRAMI Group before founding Anyware Technologies, which enabled the connection, management and monitoring of remote equipment through a web interface. He then sold Anyware Technologies to Wavecom in 2008.
He then created Goojet, a B2C services company that offered a simple, personal experience of the mobile web, which later became Scoop.it and was sold in 2018.
In 2010, he met Christophe Fourtet, a global radio communications expert, and they decided to embark on the Sigfox adventure.
Ludovic has a technical CAP and engineering degree from ENSIMAG in Grenoble.
He was appointed Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur in 2016 by President Emmanuel Macron.
