Chief Executive officer - NATIXIS

Francois Riahi, 46, is Chief Executive Officer of Natixis, member of the Management Board of BPCE, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Coface.

From 2001 to 2005, Mr. Riahi served as inspecteur des Finances (auditor at the French Treasury) in the Inspection générale des finances. He was then appointed to the government’s Budget Department, first as chargé de mission reporting to the Budget Director and subsequently as Head of the Budget Policy Office. In 2007, he was appointed advisor to the President of the French Republic, with responsibility for the reform of state institutions and public finance.

In March 2009, Mr. Riahi joined Groupe BPCE as Deputy CEO, in charge of strategy. He moved to Natixis in September 2012 as Chief Executive Officer, Corporate & Investment Banking, Asia Pacific, and member of the Natixis Executive Committee, based in Hong Kong. Mr. Riahi then took up a role as Global Co-Head of Corporate & Investment Banking at Natixis, and then as member of the Management Board in charge of the Group Finance at BPCE.

Mr. Riahi is a graduate of the École Centrale Paris School of Engineering, the Paris Institute of Political Science (Sciences Po), and the Stanford Executive Program, and is a former student of the École nationale d’administration (ENA).
