Philippe Setbon is the CEO of Groupama Asset Management since July 2013.

Other mandates within Groupama: Chairman of the Board of Groupama Epargne Salariale (Long-term Savings Solutions); Administrator of Groupama AM SGR SpA (Italy).

– Since May 2017 he is the Vice-President of the AFG

– Since June 2015 he is the President of the ‘Savings Solutions Commission’ of the AFG.

– Since June 2016 he is the President of the ‘Compliance & Regulation Commission’ of the AFG.

Philippe Setbon started his career in 1990 at Barclays Bank (Paris) as Financial Analyst on the unlisted securities market. From 1993 to 2003, he joined AZUR-GMF Group where he managed European equities then became Head of Asset management. He became CEO of the Asset Management Company, Boissy Gestion (15 billion Euros of AUM).

In 2003, he worked for Rothschild and Cie Gestion as Head of Equity Portfolios Management (OPCVM and institutional clients).

In 2004 he joined the GENERALI Group :

First he was CIO and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Generali Finances. Later, from 2007 until 2012, he was Managing Director of Generali Investments France, Paris. From 2009 to 2013 he was Chairman and CEO of Generali Investments Holding, Trieste, then CEO of Generali Investments Europe Sgr, Trieste from 2012 to 2013. He was Head of investment in securities for Generali Group, Trieste from 2011 to 2013.
