Etienne GUYOT

Graduated from Institut of Political Sciences of Paris and National School of Administration (ENA), Etienne Guyot started his career in 1988 as a civil servant for the city of Paris. In 1992 he became sub-prefect of the district of Lyon and Deputy Secretary General of the Rhône Prefecture. In 1995 he was nominated as Technical Advisor and Director of the Office of the Transport Minister. He then joined the Delegation for territorial development and local policies (DATAR) from 1997 to 2000.
In 2002-2005, he became Technical Adviser for the Ministry of Interior. Between 2005 and 2009 Etienne Guyot is Prefect of departments of successively Gers, Landes and Meurthe-et-Moselle.
In June, 2009, Etienne Guyot is nominated Director of the office of the Minister in charge of rural and territorial strategy, and in November 2010, Etienne Guyot becomes Director of the Office of the Minister of local communities.
In September 2011, Etienne Guyot is appointed Chief Executive Officer of the “Société du Grand Paris”, the public-owned company in charge of the Greater Paris new transport network.
In March 2014, Etienne Guyot is appointed CEO of the Chamber of Commerce and Industrie of Paris Ile de France.
