Ann HARRISON

Ann E Harrison is the William H. Wurster Professor of Multinational Management at the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. She received her PhD from Princeton University, and previously taught at UC Berkeley. She edited the book Globalization and Poverty, which examines the effects of globalization on the poor in developing nations, and co-edited the 2017 book The Factory-Free Economy with Lionel Fontagne. Before joining the Wharton School, she spent two years in Washington, DC, as the director of development policy at the World Bank, where she had previously led the research team for international trade and investment. She is a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, a member of the United Nations Committee for Development Policy, and an affiliate of the International Growth Centre in London.
