  • 1993 – 2001 Lawyer for the Employers Association of Metal and Electrical Industry Berlin and Brandenburg (VME) and the Organisation of Employers` and Business Associations of Berlin and Brandenburg (UVB),, extensive forensic experience at courts for industrial and labour law, social law and administrative law, collective bargaining, company agreements

 

  • 2001 – 2003 Siemens AG, Head of a local staff department, coordinator for industrial and labour law and employment conditions for Knowledge Sharing Program “SCP24”

 

  • 2003 – 2006 CEO Bildungswerk Nordostchemie e.V., an institution for vocational training of the chemical and pharmaceutical industry in Eastern Germany with a center in Berlin, head of education department of the Nordostchemie Employers Association

 

  • Since 2006 CEO of NORDOSTCHEMIE. It is comprised of the: Arbeitgeberverband Nordostchemie e. V. (Nordostchemie Employers Association), the Verband der Chemischen Industrie e. V., Landesverband Nordost (Chemical Industrial Association, the National Northeast Association) along with their affiliated trade associations and the Allgemeiner Arbeitgeberverband Nordostchemie e. V. (Nordostchemie General Employers Association).

 

  • 2010 – 2014 Co-Founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of JOBLINGE gAGBerlin, an organisation to support young people on their way to education, training and jobs

 

  • Since 2012 Honorary Judge at the Bundesarbeitsgericht (Federal Labour Court), member of numerous committees and boards, member of the LRC – Labour Relationship Committee – attached to ILO International Labour Organisation
