Kamila  Sidor is a social entrepreneur, Co-founder and CEO of global community for women in IT Geek Girls Carrots. She supports social initiatives such as Link do Przyszlosci /Link to the Future/ designed to encourage youth to pursue careers in IT. Sidor is an investor in a technology startups Motivapps and Appcodes  In 2011, during her work at UBIK Business Consulting and hardGAMMA Ventures she co-organized the first Startup Weekend in Poland and managed the GammaRebels  an accelerator program for technology startups. Kamila is a co-founder of public speaking club – Speaking Elephants Toastmasters Club. She gained several years of experience in marketing and advertising, while working at Bank Pekao SA. Kamila graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics (Management and Marketing, 2009).

Geek Girls Carrots is a social enterprise focused on connecting, learning and inspiring women in tech. They create community by organising meeting, workshops, and other events which gather people to share their knowledge and experience. Geek Girls Carrots is present in Poland, Germany, Luxembourg, France, Ireland, UK, Portugal, Japan, Canada and  US. Since 2011, meetings have taken place in 25 cities. Till 2015 the organization has conducted about 250 regular community meet-ups, 31 extra tech events, 147 workshops in Python, Java Script, Scrum, UX.
