Guillaume SARKOZY

General Manager - Malakoff Médéric

Guillaume Sarkozy holds a Master of Science in Engineering from the Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics. He began his career at the Ministry of the Interior’s Department of Civil Security, then joined IBM France as an engineer. Since 1979, Mr Sarkozy has held senior executive positions in several organizations, before becoming a member of the MEDEF Executive Committee. The MEDEF (Mouvement des Entreprises de France) is the representative body of French companies. In 2004, he became Vice President of the MEDEF. From 2004 to 2005, Mr Sarkozy was vice-president of the CNAM. The CNAM (Caisse Nationale d’Assurance Maladie) is the healthcare branch of the French Social Security Administration. He joined the Médéric Group in 2006 as General Manager. Following the merger of Malakoff and Médéric (*), he became General Manager of the newly-formed entity in July 2008. He has been a member of the Upper Council for the Future of Health Insurance since 2004.
